What a lovely family indeed!
For this couple with two young kids at the time they wanted the sloped space under the oak tree to be levelled and to update a rotten timber retainer wall.
So, we opted to not go into the ground with concrete and steel or the likes and chose to go for natural large mud rocks from Melbourne and stack them in a bit of an arena style that overlooks the lawn.
Then when it came to growing vegetables, I introduced them to a friend who makes or made some of the finest nutrient rich soils available. He has now moved up in the world but may still make these soils for commercial use.
As you can see in the quality of those plants in the wicking beds, they don’t appear to have a single bad bug in site, with all the leaves shinning away.
When growing your own food, always opt for the highest quality soil you can get.
