Another really wonderful couple who after the initial meeting I mentioned to them that they hadn’t stopped brining up Mexico!?

So, I opted for Teal, bright yellow and reds and what was once a terribly unwell looking, alcoved wall now got dressed up as a shack of sorts and as that’s a typical lane out that door it was donned Ms Lanes cottage.

The freestyled pebbled pathway became a wonderful space to walk over slowly with bare feet! A proper bit of reflexology right there of which the cat and its flap got one too!

Some of those pebbles my daughter and I collected many many years ago.

Those plantation shutters and the 5mm outdoor mirrors behind them all came from a second-hand building materials yard and fitted to the millimetre!

The gecko lamp shades either side of the door which is actually a repurposed table came from a holiday to Cape Town.

That was a really fun project that got me back on my feet after experiencing 5 bad debtors in a row that had a terrible knock-on effect on me but when I got back out there and began working again this was the result of meeting a great couple and working to produce a fresh living space.

The bifold doors hadn’t been able to open in 10 years! With only the central panel opening up enough to squeeze out through.

The cover over the door got some polycarbonate added to the mix so that one could sit inside with the doors open in the pouring rain and enjoy that sensation.
