Previously a dodgy and poorly kept lawn used to exist in this location
We installed the high batten screen to not have the neighbour’s bathroom and toilet look straight into this yard.
My good friend Patrick at Patricks Bricklaying did all the brickwork you see here.
Huge metre by metre cavities were dug for each of those trees which were filled way before the bricks went down and then sheets of steel were laid to support the bricks over the void.
We did this as Northcote’s soil is so clayey it would have taken years for the trees to adjust.
