This tiny void of a space only got a look in right at the end of the build when the client thought an aquatic vibe might be the go.
The large footings for the wall were one obstacle as well as the drainage. So, a split-level steel pond tray was fabricated off site and was then very carefully installed.
The pond was set up to home fish and started out as an aquatic garden for the first month to allow the pond soil, the plants and the pH to all settle in.
The larger filter to clean the water efficiently to house fish is living in the tv console just to the left of the pond inside.
The pond is now populated with fish and is well overdue for a check in.
